Mike's firm won the huge trial that's been consuming his life for so long. It was exciting news as Mike's dedicated almost all of his time to this case over the last two years. It just so happens to be the largest construction defect case in the history of the state of Nevada. Since the trial has been over, Mike has enjoyed a little down time here and there and actually got to go golfing! We had several stressful days when my grandma had emergency surgery and ended up being in the hospital for a week. She's home now and expected to make a full recovery - we're so glad things worked out the way they did. By way of announcement, my older brother got engaged and we are so excited. He and Jamie climbed Mt. Shasta and Matt proposed when they reached the summit, very cool. This is a picture of them at the top after she said yes.

In other news, we have a fun trip planned to San Francisco, and are still on the hunt for the quintessential house - does it exist? I'm not so sure. It's proving difficult to find that perfect combination of house and lot. Also, I finally bought a swimsuit. Nordstrom's was having half off their swimwear and had a great selection both online and in their store, designer brands, top quality, and good prices - it can't get any better than that. Which do you like best?

This weekend was great - we actually had time to relax! Rare. Last night we went out with our friends John & Destiny and had so much fun. We went to Sammy's Woodfired Pizza for dinner (so good!), then walked next door for dessert at Yogurtland. I cannot wait to go back, it was delicious - so many flavors, so many toppings - it's my new favorite place. We were up pretty late playing Settlers of Catan, and Destiny and I did get a little loopy, but we can't wait to play again.

With so much going on, we've fallen a bit behind on keeping our picture and video archives current. Mike recently had a chance to update our video archives with a video of Bryce & Zion and some updated videos of our trip to Scandinavia - you can check them out on our website at:

I LOVE YOGURTLAND. It is a must when we go home. There are 2 or 3 within 5 minutes of my house. haha Okay, maybe 7 minutes. Nevertheless, we hit it at least twice...sometimes more. :} It doesn't compare to Yozone in Provo, but Yozone holds me over beetween Yogurtland trips. ;) Glad you have one too.
We love to play Settlers, too! If you guys are in WI, we should play!
I've been craving more Yogurtland yogurt ever since I finished that one Sat. night!! NO LIE!
Congrats to your brother and fiance! That is awesome that he proposed that way! There is no way you could get me to go on top of that mountain!
