The house has been decorated, the shopping is almost complete, we've got the Christmas music playing, the Holiday cards started, and 3 parties to attend this weekend alone. Seems like December needs to be twice as long to squeeze all of this in.

To spread some of this Holiday cheer, I hosted my first Holiday Cookie exchange last night. In attendance were 9 friends and some delicious holiday treats: Triple Chocolate Devil Drops, Popcorn Ornament Balls, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies, Carmelitas, Butter Pecan Fudge, Rolo Cookies, Date-Nut Cookies, Licorice Caramels and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookies. I served snacks, put on some great music and enjoyed the company of friends. In the end, everyone went home with a variety of treats along with the recipes. Pehaps it will become a yearly tradition.
