These are so delicious, one of our favorites.
1 lb ground beef
1 C bread or cracker crumbs
1 egg
garlic and onion powder to taste
1 12 oz bottle ketchup
1 C brown sugar
2 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp vinegar
Mix first 4 ingredients together, shape into 1-2” balls. Brown in a saucepan and place in crockpot or casserole dish. Mix remaining ingredients and cook in saucepan until it boils. Pour over meatballs. Crock-pot: cook on low 2 hours. Oven: cook covered on 275 for 2 hour, uncover last 15 minutes. Serve over rice.
