It was Dad's birthday over the weekend, he turned 55! He's always been a great Dad - playing Torro the Bull with us when we were little, telling us great stories before bed, coaching and helping us practice on all our different sports teams, nursing our injuries, he spent countless hours of pitching practice with me in the back yard. He was the one that always helped with creative school projects, and has always been a good example: patient, kind, hard working, encouraging, thoughtful, generous, and always lots of fun. Dad also gives the best advice. Happy Birthday - we love you Dad! Wish we could have been there to celebrate and eat Mom's German Chocolate Birthday Cake! Here are the many faces of Vern:
