San Francisco July 4th, 2009
We spent a long weekend in San Francisco over the 4th of July. We met up with my parents and brother Jeff and his wife Brie. It was great to see family and we had so much fun. We ate great food, saw the sights, and really enjoyed the cooler weather and being able to get away from the daily grind. Here's what we did:
Union Square - shopping of course
Alcatraz
Pier 39
Fisherman's Warf - clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls
Golden Gate Bridge
Guided bus tour of the city
The Painted Ladies
Great Indian food for dinner
Games at night back in the hotel - Scorple and Bang!
China Town - shopping, fortune cookie factory, and great Chinese for lunch
Ghiradelli Square - sundaes!
Walked up to Lombard Street
Rode the cable cars
Great authentic Italian pizza for dinner

Wow that looks like a ton of fun! Next time we should do a trip together! Wait.. nevermind, trips with kids are nowhere near that fun; you guys would think we were so lame (feedings, naptimes, bedtimes, crying fits in public places... so much getting in the way of fun). That last pic of the city totally looks like the exact spot where that Full House title sequence was shot. :)
Glad you guys had a nice little vacation!
BTW, what did you guys decide about the house situation?
i love me some san fran! looks like you guys are doing well and had fun. i love that you guys love little dorrit! we are kindred spirits i think :) we totally haven't had our adoption audit yet...man another thing to worry about. i have 15 birth mom's and 37 adoptive couples. yea...
so don't fear the lcsw exam! you have to wait till next year to take it right? miss you guys...you're fun people :)
