Birthday Weekend

A couple of weekends ago, we celebrated my birthday. Since it fell on a Sunday this year, I kept telling Mike it was my 'Birthday Weekend' which warranted several days of celebration. And that's exactly what we did. Friday night, we grabbed something quick to eat and went to an outdoor piano concert by Jon Schmidt who was absolutely amazing. The weather could not have been better. Thanks for inviting us Destiny! Saturday, I got to go shopping, and get a massage. Mike made reservations at Lucilles, it was fun and so delicious. Afterward, we came home to enjoy our dessert and watch Sherlock Holmes on DVD. Sunday, we went to a dinner group with a few couples from the ward then came home to open gifts. I was surprised by a loud knock at the door and found the Gutke family on the doorstep serenading me with a homemade birthday cake in hand. It was a wonderful 'Birthday Weekend!'
