We returned Monday night from a wonderful long weekend in Idaho Falls. Kim, Brady, and Max hosted us in their lovely home and pampered us all weekend. They let us soak up the slow, laid back life style, and the beautiful autumn weather. Forgot how much we loved 'small town America.' There was plenty of R&R and Kimberly had delicious food; homemade nachos, gourmet hot cocoa, chicken pot pie with the most delicious cranberries, slow cooked beef stew with drop biscuits, and pumpkin-apple streusel muffins just to name a few. Saturday we went for a scenic drive to visit Mesa Falls and had great burgers at Judd's with time to spare for a girl's only shopping trip while the boys watched football. Monday we stopped at the most wonderful place, The Candy Cottage, where we sampled delicious treats and bought plenty for later - dare I say the divinity was as good as my mothers.
