Thanksgiving in Vegas

This year we get to host Thanksgiving at our house! My parents and grandma are flying down from Washington for a warm weather holiday. We'll miss Jeff & Brie who will be in Southern California and Matt & Jamie who will be in Northern California but plan to see each other over Christmas. We'll surely miss Matt's skills as a surgeon when carving the turkey. On the menu? All the favorite traditional dishes...
Turkey
Cranberries
Mashed potatoes & gravy
Mom's homemade Stuffing
Grandma's Yams & Apples
Veggie (TBA), any great suggestions?
Fluffy Dinner Rolls
Pumpkin pie, plus a few other treats as well
What are your plans for Thanksgiving, and what's on your menu?

veggie: something green like broccoli or maybe a simple spinach salad. As for our menu, well, it's up to the MIL.

we normally have peas and carrots in a white sauce, carrots with a brown sugar glaze, and squash. Three veggies: my mom goes all out!
This year I have to learn how to make a turkey since next year I will have to make one on my own! Good luck!

You should try the Toll House Pie on my blog - it was so yummy and original!
