Happy Birthday to Matt!

29 this year! Glad you got to enjoy a piece of Mom's German Chocolate Birthday Cake (although I'm quite jealous). Wish we could have celebrated with you! Matt lives in D.C. and just returned last night from a well-deserved trip to Whistler B.C. with Jamie. Here they are atop a peak, above both the cloud line and tree line. Notice the helmet cam Matt's sporting...but try not to encourage the behavior. Since he just started the research rotation of his residency he didn't have to work today and was able to attend the Presidential inauguration, on his birthday even. Very cool.
