The Metropolitan Opera


Love opera? Want to go to the Metropolitan Opera with us this weekend? Just follow this link. This is one of the coolest things ever. Made possible by a generous grant from the Neubauer Family Foundation, for the price of a movie ticket, you can now experience the Metropolitan Opera live in HD in movie theaters around the country. YES! The theater on ND campus offers this, and we went to see La Boheme in April (I'm pretty sure it was more like $16/ticket, though- maybe it differs by theater). Still well worth it! They take you *live* behind the curtain during scene changes & intermissions. It's really cool & I loved it!
