Mike came home from work today sick. We were both exhausted and haven't ever really gotten over our colds from about a month ago, so I picked up Chicken Tortilla Soup from Cafe Rio on my way home from work (quite dangerous that it's on my way home). It sure tasted good and I think it perked Mike up just a little. When we lived in Utah and got sick I would sometimes pick up homemade chicken noodle soup from The Brick Oven (along with a 2 liter of their homemade root beer, which I later realized I was actually stealing... for some reason I just figured those ones they left on the counter came with your carry out food order, so I'd always grab one on my way out. Oops!) Anyways, since my grandma lives in Washington (she makes the BEST homemade chicken noodle soup EVER - I'm talking about the kind that takes all day) and she's not here to make it for us, Cafe Rio, an early bed time, some extra strength tylenol, and a doting wife will have to do. What makes you feel better when you're under the weather?

Aww sorry you're sick, Mike! Looks like this post was a few days ago, so hopefully you're starting to feel better by now. Good idea about the soup, Jenny; what a good wife!
